FashionCapital & Victoria's Secret

Hello everybody,

This will be my second blog, it still feels strange writing blogs considering the fact that I never have written blogs.

This time I would like to discuss a fashion website that I used to visit a lot.  Established in 2001 FashionCapital.co.uk has a wide variety of information regarding the fashion industry, lifestyle and trends, live active forums and a range of services to help designers succeed today.

I like the completeness of the website because you can find all random news about the fashion industry there. I also search for the latest fashion shows, brands or pictures here. Here is the link of the website: ‘’FashionCapital.co.uk’’ in case you are interested in visiting it.


What I also like is to see in fashion shows are designers that not only making a wearable collection that you can buy in the stores, but designers who make a creative and memorable collection that will catch your eye. Fashion is becoming art, people are visiting fashion shows like they are going to museums. For instance, this lingerie collection of Victoria Secret, no way that someone would wear that in the bedroom, but it’s nice to see this collection. These are just a few examples. The first one Is Adriana Lima and the second one is Heidi Klum. Both of them are well known models, they are revealing the collection of Victoria Secret.

Hello everybody,

This is my first blog and I would like to start off by introducing myself. I am Nargis Shah and I’m 18 years old. I’m studying Commercial Economics at The Hague University. My favorite subject would probably be Marketing but If there was a possibility to choose for the subject fashion I would definitely choose for that! Sadly that is not a option, it’s not a part of my education but it is one of my interests.        

I also do a lot of sports, for example I play badminton, I frequently go to the gym (fitness) and I join Zumba classes. But my favorite activity is shopping!

I would like to write about Fashion, because it’s a subject I know a lot about and so I would like to share my opinion with you all in my blogs. Every week I will do research about the latest looks, new magazines, new stores and new fragrances and I will discuss it in my blog. I will also relate the subject Fashion to marketing, because it’s my main subject in the course I follow. Because marketing is my main subject I will approach my blogs from a marketing angle. 

I will also try to add photos and links to my blog (and maybe also short fashion commercials) to make it more enjoyable for you as a reader.
